These Charge Cord Adaptors are compatible with all Chevrolet and Ultium dual level charge cords. They will not work with charging stations or Level 1 charge cords.
These Charge Cord Adaptors are designed to securely attach to your existing charge cord. Due to their robust design, it may require some force when connecting and disconnecting. For proper installation, plug must be fully inserted.
Charging requires a dedicated 120V 15-amp (NEMA 5-15) circuit suitable for the heavy-duty, continuous 12-amp charging load. Charging requires a dedicated 120V 30-amp (NEMA TT-30) circuit suitable for the heavy-duty, continuous 24-amp charging load. Charging requires a dedicated 240V 30-amp (NEMA 14-30) circuit suitable for the heavy-duty, continuous 24-amp charging load.
The NEMA 5-15 plug is designed for a current draw of 12 amps (1.4 kW). The 120V NEMA TT-30 plug is designed for a current draw of 24 amps (2.8 kW). The 240V NEMA 14-30 plug is designed for a current draw of 24 amps (5.7 kW).
Electric code limits continuous EV charging to 80% of the circuit rating. Speed of charging may also vary based on vehicle type, battery condition, input voltage, vehicle settings and outside temperature.
