About this product

GM Genuine Parts Fuel Injectors are designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous standards, and are backed by General Motors. When signaled by the engine control unit, fuel injectors open and spray the pressurized fuel into the engine cylinders. The duration that the injector is open (called the pulse width) is proportional to the amount of fuel delivered. This fuel is mixed with air to produce combustion when ignited. Remanufacturing fuel injectors is a practice that involves disassembly of existing units and replacing components that are most prone to wear with new components. Damaged and obsolete parts are replaced, and completed units are tested to ensure they perform to GM specifications. In addition, remanufacturing returns certain components back into service rather than processing as scrap or simply disposing of them.GM Genuine Parts are the true OE parts installed during the production of or validated by General Motors for GM vehicles. Some GM Genuine Parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco GM Original Equipment (OE).
